Committee to Stop Giant Warehouse Blight president Peter Moruzzi is a long-time Palm Springs resident and avid preservationist who co-founded the Palm Springs Modern Committee in 1999. He has authored pictorial history books including three on Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. He previously served on the Palm Springs Planning Commission and currently is a member of the city’s Historic Site Preservation Board (HSPB).
Frank Tysen has been fighting to preserve our quality of life in the desert for over 40 years. Among his successes, he led the effort to stop the construction of an 8,000-inmate prison at the entrance to Palm Springs in 2009.
As an attorney who specilizes in urban planning and land-use, Judy Deertrack has long been a strong advocate for balanced, sustainable growth in the Coachella Valley.
